Who should attend

This day will build on our workshop focusing on the theoretical underpinnings of good ethical reasoning, and the critical appraisal of frameworks for ethics case consultation. The format will be interactive and use case discussions to enhance the application of theory to practice.

Chair:  Prof Diane Playford President BSRM and Professor in Rehabilitation Medicine
Teaching and group facilitation will be run by Dr Anne Slowther, Associate Professor, Dr Mark Bratton, Honorary Fellow in Clinical Education, and Dr Raj Khurana, Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine

This course is for Consultants in Rehabilitation Medicine, Trainees, and Allied Health Professional Colleagues are also welcome.

3.20-4.45 Ethical and legal perspectives on withholding CANH in disorders of consciousness (PVS and MCS).
